Our French Language Programs

Our native-speaking teachers have all graduated
from the University of Nice, with a Masters
Diploma from the department of French as a
Foreign Language. They have all had professional
teacher training and experience with international
students. The courses are taught  using the direct
method, this means that
French is the language
of instruction and use of other languages is
avoided as much as possible
. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context,
and schoolbooks including exercises are provided by the school. Much emphasis
is put on the speaking ability of the students, and often students are asked to
prepare small presentations and to hold group discussions. In addition audio and
video equipment, songs, newspapers, magazines and language games are used
throughout the courses to make your studies more diverse and thoroughly
enjoyable.

Our institution offers 3 different types of courses:

1.)
Standard Course (4 lessons/day from 9:00 - 12:15 ),
2.) Intensive Course (6 lessons/day from 9:00 - 14:30 ),
3.) Individual Tuition (one-to-one, times flexible)
* in the high season some classes will be held in the afternoon as well, usually July and
August.

After every 2 lessons of 45 minutes we have a 15 minute break. Our lunch break
of 45 minutes is held from12:15 to 13:00. The first 2 lessons usually concentrate
on grammar and vocabulary, the remaining 2 lessons on conversation.

The class groups are evenly matched and contain a maximum of 12 students. We
feel that maintaining smaller classes leaves plenty of opportunity to speak openly
and frequently during conversation, allows the teacher to specialize the course to
the students needs and, of course, it makes it easier to meet your fellow
classmates!
