Lingo Planet offers a varied selection of excursions, offered both during the week
and on the weekends. Our guide will provide you with tours that offer an in-depth
look at the history and culture of Nice and the Riviera presented in a friendly and
informative manner. Here are some examples of the excursions available to
students.
- All of our excursions begin at our school in Nice and include transportation
to and from the center of Nice.
- All of our tours are either half day excursions (during the week) or
full day excursions (on the weekend.)
- All of our walking tours & day tours operate in rain or shine, in both
French and English
The Original Nice Walking Tour
Half-day panoramic tour of Nice's major sights and monuments, including
the old city, the flower market, Castle Hill, the port, and the 'Promenade des
Anglais'. Walk the narrow streets of the 'Vieux Nice' and stroll along the
famous Promenade like the stars and learn its history.
Tour operates every Monday at 2:45 pm.
Eze Village Tour
Half-day panoramic tour of the medieval village of Eze. Visit the village with
its breathtaking view of the Mediterranean, tour the famous perfume factory
of Fragonard. Visit the exotic gardens high up on the village. (Optional)
Riches of Monaco and Monte Carlo Tour
Full-day tour of the world famous Principality of Monaco. Visit the Royal
Palace and watch the changing of the guards. Tour the port, the cathedral
and world famous casino in Monte Carlo. Visit the Oceanographic museum
before returning to Nice. (Optional)
Tour operates on Saturday's at 10:00 am.
Cannes in the Spotlight Tour
Full-day tour of the international city of Cannes. Tour the famous city
known for its international film festival Then take a boat across to the
Islands of Lerins, tour the island and visit the mysterious jail house of the 'Man
behind the Iron Mask.' Return to Nice by train or Motorcoach.
